We received some questions regarding our BLR Points. “What are they?”, “What is that number?” and “What does it mean?” BLR Points stands for Book Lovers Rewards Points. It is the number of points you will receive towards a gift card if you were participating in our BLR Points program. So yes, it is true that you can get paid to read books. The program is free and is our way of giving something back to our book lovers.
Hi. My name is Ted and I am a writer for The Book Observer. A 501c3 non profit organization that addresses the “Need to Read” by offering free book reviews, affordable advertising and other services to aspiring authors.
Participation is simple. Purchase a book, read it, leave a short review, and you earn the points. Once you build up enough points you cash them in for a $10.00 or a $25.00 gift card. The $25.00 gift card is challenge recommended for our serious readers.
We know our program does not offer a huge reward but it is at least something. As far as we know, we are the only non profit organization with a program like it. You basically do get paid to read books. So, if you are a book lover, you already love reading books. So, why not get rewarded for something that you already do anyway.
Do you have a knack for writing book reviews? If so, you may want to consider becoming one of our book reviewers as well. We have a nice rewards program for our book reviewers too.
The BLR Points Program is funded by our authors utilizing our book review packages and advertising. Many of the packages include BLR Points at no additional cost to our authors. So, are you ready to get paid to read books? If so, click our below link to learn more about our BLR Points Program. Also lean how you as an author can sign up to reward your fans.
