With our BLR Program, your fans receive reward points for purchasing, reading and submitting a short review of your book. But, they only receive those points after their book review is checked twice for Verified Purchase.
Hi. My name is Ted and I am a writer for The Book Observer. A 501c3 non profit organization that addresses the “Need to Read” by offering free book reviews, affordable advertising and other services to aspiring authors. I am excited about this program for it gives authors a tool to fight back against those unwanted book returns.
Those book reviews are checked once shorty after being posted, and again 4 – 5 weeks later. They must show verified purchase both times. If it is, your fan will receive the points and can later cash them in for a gift card.

Smashwords: They do not allow returns of any digital content.

Signing up for this program is simple. All of our book review packages include BLR Points at no additional cost to you. You must accept them when you are signing up for one of the packages. After accepting the BLR Points you are given the option to upgrade your points. The more points your book has, the more popular it will be with your fans. Then authors can say goodbye to book returns.
Authors can also receive free BLR Points while placing an advertising order using no coupon codes. Authors can also earn an additional 100 points by using our Draft2Digital “Refer A Friend” link to publish your next book. Once your book is ready, submit it to us for a book review or advertising package and your book will have the additional 100 points.
