Rating: 5 out of 5.

The Last Day by S. M. Revolinski is an intriguing speculative fiction novella centered on the eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano and the pathos experienced by survivors seeking safe haven. Louise Grant and Jonas Grumble share a casual relationship that is impacted by the catastrophe. They make plans to rendezvous in Georgia with his parents, Elijah and Payalee Grumble. NASA scientists predict the dawn of an Ice Age that puts America on a countdown. Exacerbating this is the deterioration of the San Andreas Fault which revs up Roy Johnson’s exodus from North Dakota. Roy finds the Deep South to be a logical destination. Can the protagonists find ground and help assure one another’s survival? Pick up a copy of Revolinski’s tale and find out for yourself.

After The Last Day is available on Amazon.
