Prior to your ordering any of our services we recommend you familiarize yourself with a few of the things that are “OUT OF OUR CONTROL“. We will update this list as needed.
– We can only control what is on our website. We cannot control what is posted on other websites, our volunteers blogs, Facebook accounts etc.
– We cannot guarantee that FB or other social media websites won’t remove or somehow limit our post about your book review.
– We cannot guarantee that tagging you in our FB post announcing your book review will work. We have had issues with this in the past and were often advised that the issue that is preventing us from tagging people is something in their profile security settings. We cannot change your settings for you nor can we walk you through changing your settings.
– We cannot guarantee that Amazon or any other online business will post our review of your book or remove it after it was posted, even with our verified purchase.
– We cannot guarantee that someone might report our post on FB about your book as spam and FB take some action against it.
– We cannot guarantee that someone won’t respond negatively to any posts about your book review.
– We cannot complete your package until we receive all information from you. For instance we cannot complete you authors page until we receive the information from you that you wish to include in your authors page.
– We cannot guarantee that something out of our control will prevent your book review or other services you requested from being completed within the estimated time frame that you were initially given. The time frames provided are estimates.
– Do understand that we will do everything we can to remedy each situation to the best of our ability on a case by case basis. You further understand that we can only control what is on our website. Amazon, FB or other websites may place limits or restrict our attempts to provide the services you requested. We will keep you advised of any issues we run into while attempting to complete the services you requested. However, their doing this does not mean that the effort wasn’t made.
With your continuing to use this website and any services provided you are agreeing to not hold “The Book Observer”, its board members, staff, volunteers, contractors, etc. responsible for things that are out of our control. You further agree that all donations made by you to “The Book Observer” in exchange for any of our services are donations and that you will not request or demand a refund due to circumstances that are out of our control.
